Grief and Anxiety

Grief and anxiety are closely connected. After losing a loved one we may experience feelings of anxiety. During the grief process we begin to realize the finality of death. At that point, we realize that we do not have control over our losses.

Losses of others nor our own death. For many, this realization produces feelings of anxiety.

Upon transitioning to a different stage of life we may experience feelings of grief and anxiety. We always know what is behind us.  However, when faced with the unknown future, even if welcomed,  feelings of grief and anxiety may appear. This is a normal part of life.

If you are needing guidance through your grieving process I am able to help.
